Collaboration of music and Quilt.
I made one piece of Quilt about the figure which the friend of the viola
player played in 2008.
She did a splendid performance with the member of the quartet in front of Quilt work.
There were many requests from the musician who knew this activity. "Don't
you give glory to your Quilt in the stage of the classical concert?"
Collaboration of classic concert and Quilt is a new trial. I performed the display more than the past ten times with the musicians who wished that I wanted to offer pleasure of music something extra.
In May, 2010, I held the private exhibition that memorialized ten years in
Nagano of the hometown in Quilt career.
I borrowed an art gallery owned by a local food company and displayed 20 works in total with a work of eight pieces of handmade Quilt and 12 pieces of machine Quilt for three days.
And this plan was a wish of my mother.
The group exhibition of Quilter of seven people who held it at the same time was able to show a new style of machine Quilt to local people.
